OSHA silica Table 1 control
The required dust control and respirator for your concrete or masonry task, straight from Table 1.
Your task
Required controls
RespiratorNone required by Table 1 (with the control fully in place)
Engineering controlSaw with an integrated water-delivery system that continuously feeds water to the blade; run and maintain it per the manufacturer.
This reproduces OSHA Table 1 from 29 CFR 1926.1153(c). Fully and properly implementing the listed control, work practices AND respirator is a compliance safe harbor: you then do not have to separately measure exposure for that task. The safe harbor is conditional on correct use, and 'None' is not a claim that exposure is zero. Any required respirator triggers the full 1910.134 program. Not legal advice.
